SECTION 01Installing Bold Builder plugin

There are two methods of installing a plugin onto your WordPress site. You can use the WordPress Admin panel to upload and install the plugin, or you can use FTP software instead.

Method 1

Use WordPress Add New Plugin feature and search Bold Page Builder.

Method 2

Download the archive here and:

Unzip the archive on your computer
Upload bold-builder directory to the /wp-content/plugins/ directory
Activate the plugin through the Plugins menu in WordPress

SECTION 02Installing Demo Content

Please follow the next steps:

Demo content can be downloaded on the following link. Download the zip file on your computer, unzip the demo folder, and export desired demo xml file(s).
You can preview all demos on this page.

1. Go to ‘Tools > Import > WordPress’ and install WordPress Importer plugin if it is not already
installed.

2. When it is installed, choose xml file from demo_data folder and click ‘Upload file and import’.

3. On the following screen make sure that ‘Download and import file attachments’ is checked. Click ‘Submit’ button and wait until import is finished.

4. Once demo import is done, you should see imported demo page in All Pages list, and images in Media Library.

SECTION 03Translate Bold Builder

Please follow the next steps:

The procedure is standard – you can find the .pot file in the plugin’s languages folder.

Please use PoEdit – https://poedit.net/ to translate the .pot file and create respective .po and .mo fies.

You should upload .po and .mo files created using PoEdit back to plugin’s languages folder.

Please name .po and .mo files e.g. bold-builder-nl_NL.po and bold-builder-nl_NL.mo (nl_NL is the language code for dutch) and place them in /wp-content/plugins/bold-page-builder/languages/.

You can set the site language of your WordPress installation on Settings > General. WordPress will automatically use the right language files if they exist.
